David Mapley acted as CEO and director.
A second key investment, Mystic Tackleworks, won various awards for its revolutionary fish bait delivery system, including Las Vegas' ICAST Fishing - The World's Largest Sportfishing Trade Show, and the Pitney Bowes Most Promising New Technology Product of the Year at the Connecticut Technology Council's Innovation Pipeline 2008. Mystic Tackleworks was sold to Attrax in the USA. David Mapley was the major investor and also acted as an independent director.

European Angel Investor Group, Switzerland & Portugal
Shimoda's CEO David Mapley re-located to Europe in 2009, and made his first "Angel" investments in 2012 - City Windmills. Due to a dishonest CEO, David Mapley was invited in to take over the company, and is now the biggest shareholder. Seeking to establish prototype production in Portugal, his team is also using the Algarve as a base for arranging angel investor meetings for like-minded investors locally.
Presented opportunites to investors have been in high-class whisky, gold trading, and further presentation are planned, under the guise of the Algarve Angel Investor Group.
